Reward raised for Grove rapist(s)
Community organizations and individuals -- including representatives of Village of Center Grove, Village Council, All-Grove Crime Watch, and the 1st victim's boyfriend, have banded together to help raise the reward money for the arrest of the rapist(s) in the Grove.
Through these efforts, Sue McConnell announced at the All-Grove Crime Watch meeting last Wednesday that the City of Miami would be increasing the reward, in a sum of approx. $8,000-10,000 to be split between the two incidents since there may be two separate rapists, (above are the two police sketches released). So far, the paperwork is being handled and the check is expected shortly. Sue McConnell is also working with County Commissioner Carlos Gimenez's office who will be contributing to this fund as well. The amount of the County's contribution will be announced shortly but will not be received until some time in January.
Other organizations and individuals can contribute their tax-deductible donations by mailing their checks to
Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers
1030 NW 111 Avenue
Miami, FL 33172
In the memo of the check, please write "Donation - Reward increase for Grove rapist(s)."
Please know that the money will either 1. be given to the person whose tip helps lead to the arrest; 2. be returned to the donors if there is an arrest without help from a tip; 3. may be kept for a very long time if there is no arrest and the case is kept open.

The guy on the left looks like Wesley Snipes
The guy on the left looks like that guy that hangs out in the walgreens parking lot asking for money for chips. Guy has a serious dope problem.
seriously how can anybody say who he looks like, except he's black???that should narrow it down
Let's thank The Grove Crimewatch team and Robert Loupo and Sue McConnell for working on getting this reward increased which hopefully will lead to some tips and the ultimate arrest of this person and allow us more peace of mind.
