Forecast: 88 degrees and snow
The snow arrived late today for the Snow Days at Mayfair's Promenade, but that was a good thing. Hundreds of kids were waiting in anticipation of the snow and when it did arrive, they got to see it blased all over the Promande from the snow truck.
Frosty was on hand, just like last week and he enjoyed the snow as much as anyone.
The kids are all so thrilled, some don't know what to do with it. They just stare at the snow.
Free snow cones were served up again and it seemed as if everyone in the crowd had one, due to the 88 degree weather. They tasted so delicous. At right, local musician Ryan Stone and his daughter Shea, were part of the festivities.
The snow will be out until 6 pm or until it melts, whichever comes first. Next Sunday Snow Days takes over Fuller Street and I hear that at the end of the day, there is to be a snowball fight between merchants -- street against street, business against business, maybe BID against Merchants Group, something like that!
