Bombay Darbar preparing for grand opening

Bombay Darbar Indian Restaurant (3195 Commodore Plaza) is having it's invitation only grand opening on Saturday, January 2. But right after the reception, at 8 pm, the public is invited to attend. Dinner will be served at 50% off their regular prices. Dine in or out, seating accommodates 50.

Danny and Nan, both originally from Bombay, India, are the new owners. They have been in the restaurant business for 22 years, and have worked in some of the most exclusive proprieties in the world including the Taj Hotel in India, the Ritz Carlton and the Hilton Hotel.

Master Chef Ronnie has over 21 years mastering the fine technique of Indian cuisine.

I still can't believe there is not ONE Chinese Restaurant with moderate prices, decent Chinese food and home delivery. Not ONE in the Entire Coconut. The Chinese people do not high rents, but the Indian, French, Italian, etc people can affort it? Can't understand that mystery. CI

the food is amazing, tonight was there first night, i have a feeling they will be success, small place, rent must be low, it could be the recipe for mayor excellence. Service was good plates looked good anxious to please. You see Anokha's food tasted good but everything look dirty and disgusting these people are different crowd I hope they do well, enough of french food people, specially second grade french.
