The next Dylan or Lovin' Spoonful?

Speaking of having young musicians on the streets, Ryan Olmedo and Frances Blades are a throwback to the old Grove.

You may have seen them around Mayfair, by the promenade and also in front of The Bookstore.

They have a sweet old-fashioned folk song-type sound and they are very talented.

Look for them on the streets of Coconut Grove this holiday season, enjoy this new talent for just tips at the moment, they are going to be big some day, you can say you knew them when.

Hope Sarnoff doesn't hear about this. There is to be no music in the streets in coconut grove... First you have music, then you have dancing, then laughing and smiling, then its all out anarchy.

While not related to David Sarnoff, I have heard that the preacher in Footloose was based on his actual grandfather... Just carrying on the tradition I guess.
