Little ones are enjoying the Creepy Crawl

halloween2
The Coconut Grove Creepy Crawl Halloween is off to a good start at the Museum of Science. The kiddies are filling the place fast. The advantage is that once you pay admission, you have free reign of the whole museum and the kids are really enjoying that aspect of touring the whole museum and interacting with hands-on displays.

Outside there are many blow-up bounce houses and lots of food vendors. Above left are Barbie and Marilyn at the Cold Stone Creamery booth. Valentina Crespo, with blue hair, is a digital pop-art designer, she has lots of cute kids apparel for sale. Colin is dressed as Charlie Brown today. He and Snoopy have been posing for cameras all day.

AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt and Heather Bettner are manning the pumpking painting room, where you may also color on coloring book sheets. Nico, Candice and Andreas stopped in to check out the pumpkins and fun that fills the museum.

The outside vendors include ice cream, snow cones, crepes, hot dogs and more. My favorite were the creepy cupcakes. Care for an eyeball cupcake? Only $1.00 from Elite Catering.

The pumpkin painting is fun, for only $5.00 you get a small pumpkin that you can paint and take home with you. The grandmothers are out today with their grandchildren, from left: Naomi Morales, Judy Wurst, Ashley Wagner, Betty Conkling, Alexis Alberts and Robert Burns.

The Creepy Crawl is open from noon to 11 pm today, October 30 and tomorrow, Halloween, day. It's at the Miami Science Museum (3280 S. Miami Avenue). Admission is $16 for adults, $12 for kids.

The Theatre Institute of South Florida's Domain of Fears IV: Evil Magic, a Haunted House experience is from 7 to 11 pm. The Haunted House is $10 per person with purchase of Creepy Crawl ticket. Domain of Fears can be experienced without attending the Creepy Crawl, for an admission of $15.00 per person.
