circo-barcelona1
The whole town came out last night it seems for the grand opening of the Grove's newest Tapas restaurant and bar Circo Barcelona, at CocoWalk.

Interesting that the crowd was OVERWHELMINGLY Latin and that the pictures show otherwise.

8:01, what party were you at? What I saw was a party that was overwhelmingly Grove! One of the best things about Miami is our rich cultural diversity and all the great music, dance, art, language, food, sports, and other things that people have brought here from other parts of the world. Where does your family come from? England, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Scotland, France, Asia, Africa? All our families came here from somewhere sometime and were newcomers then, subject to attitudes like yours, unless you are 100% Native American, and even they originally came from elsewhere.

I think it's so interesting that the most active Grovites meet the demographic facts that can be found on miamidade.gov -- check out the demographics section, particularly the North Grove. Do you think that the most ardent supporters of the Grove lifestyle meet those demographics, or that you'd welcome a reversal? I love the Grove, just as it is, by the way.

Circo Barcelona's Grand Opening was great!!! fun ambiance, cozy restaurant, great service, great food ...and looking at their menu prices are very reasonable.

Overall, a great tapas bar! =)
