Chamber's Casino night was a fun time

casino1
I won a lot of chips at Roulette at last night's Chamber Casino night, but then lost it all back at Blackjack. So many of the Grove was out for the charity event at the former Cielo's space at Mayfair, a Moroccan-themed night, catered by Hy Vong.

Above are Liliana Dones, Commissioner Joe Sanchez, Michael Borja and Michelle Niemeyer.

Among the crowd: Ed Prelaz of Mayfair, Cindy Bettner (who is holding the Thriller Night party at Mayfair on Halloween), Matt Higier from Barracuda and girlfriend Evan Northup.

casino3
Chamber president Tony Noboa (left) enjoyed himself along with his wife Lupe. Corrine and Tom Santoro also were among the crowd.

casino4
Tom Falco, Liliana Dones, H. Bredemeier and Manny Poch had a good time at the bar and gambling and mixing and mingling.

casino5
Heather Bettner sang a little as Niki Blacker played the piano. Hon, Ed and Ron enjoyed the fun, Ron won a prize at the end of the night in the raffle.

casino6
Erika King, John Reubens, Sylvia Quinn and Michelle Niemeyer kibitzed at the bar. John gave me some great tips at winning at the Roulette table and I won every single time that I played.

casino7
Willie Vega put on the whole casino and did an incredible job. Here is is with his wife, Lisette, and here he is with John Reubens serenading the crowd. Mary McDonald is shown here checking out the goodies in the silent auction. There were plenty of items to be had.

casino8
H. Bredemeier had a great time with friend Pam, he wasn't too thrilled with the vodka on hand, so he went to the liquor store across the plaza and got some Grey Goose. My favorite, too. And sisters Cindy and Heather Bettner, flank Craig from Azul clothing store.

The Silent Auction Committee headed by Sue McConnell worked tirelessly, they were Lisa Shallenberger, Naomi Evans and Sylvia Quinn did an excllent job of bringing in many great items, two tables were overflowing with the generous gifts given by the community.
