Lots of happy people at Pajama Pub Crawl
Saturday night, the night before the Great Grove Bed Race, was the Pajama Pub Crawl, which turned out to be another successful event.
The Bed Race/Pub Crawl committee did a super job putting the whole thing together. The whole weekend went flawless.
People started lining up early for the pub crawl and the sign up was orderly, at Fat Tuesdays. Above are pub crawl organizers Naomi Evans, of CocoWalk and Matt Higier of Barracuda, signing people up.
They limited the tickets and the event sold out. We need more of these pub crawls, people love them, they bring a happy, young crowd to the Grove and the money goes to charity, it's a win-win situation. In these hard ecomonic times, there are plenty of charities who would love to be on the receiving end of this.

I am uninformed (again).
Is a "Pub Crawl" where you go drinking from bar to bar?
Why would someone need to buy a ticket do do this?
Met Naomi at the Bed Race, she did a great job. Wonderful addition to the grove and Grove events!
Any photos of people in pajamas?
Tony - 1 drink at 9 different bars for $20 - You certainly don't need to buy a ticket, but it makes your night about 75% cheaper.
Then again, I had such a great time that I couldn't resist dropping another hundred on dinner and drinks around the grove that night.
I had people in from out of town for this event, and they loved it and the grove.
only negative was that Fat Tuesday, after having been given the benefit of being the starting place, and the extra business that entails, told us they "ran out" by the time we stopped there at 9pm, and couldn't even give us any deal. I would think they could have comped out a few drafts to people after getting the boost that the crawl brought to them, not to mention the bed race, but I guess they just didn't feel like it.
I agree, more pub crawls, It was super fun! but can we have some more drink sponsors, I love Newcastle, but even I was running out of steam by then end!
