Waiter's Race needs entrants
The day of the Great Grove Bed Race, there will be a Waiter's Race. There is now a call to waiters, bartenders and servers to join in.
Prizes will be great (to be announced) and the winning restaurant will also win an ad in the Grapevine. So the actual racer will win something and the restaurant.
The race is on Sunday, September 6, from 1 to 2 pm, during the Bed Race festivities. It's lunch time, so the night staff may be the ones participating.
Please email Daisy at info@thegreatgrovebedrace.com to sign up. Just give her your name and restaurant/bar you work for, she'll send you the details.
As for bed making, a couple of people have offered their services at our Bed Race Forum here on Facebook. If you need help or would like to offer help, please ad a posting there.
