I blame the city manager for the frivolous contracts and not being able to control government spending in Miami.

Like him or hate him... Miami is better off now than 8 years ago. We have residents downtown, more affordable housing and who do you think brought all that stimulus money to Miami?

I agree, if it was just Manny why is Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Miami-Dade and every other community rich, poor, big, small running in red now? It's the state legislature and ignorant voters that approved big tax "savings" homestead, 2nd homes, commercial properties, school class size limits, and moving affordable housing money from the trust fund to general fund. What you thought money grew on trees like all the foreclosed homeowners.

The point is not that everyone's having a tough time, but that the Mayor is lying about the situation on the City website.

Manny and his developer friends have ruined Miami for good. Don't let him keep doing it. He's out of office soon, let him go retire already without doing any more damage.

Notice how I put it in "quotations"
The current administration has been lying to us. Whenever something happens, Fire Fee, Mercy Towers, The Cubix, Public Housing, Miami 21 meetings with the communities. Whenever something bad in the city happens it all about "turning the page"
It is time people are held accountable for their actions and not their vision.

It is always enlightening to see the sizzle that the politician was selling and then compare it to the actual steak. And after 8 years, this steak is not very tender, tasty or satisfying. Harry Emilio Gottlieb

Manny Diaz is all about taking taxpayer money so his friends get rich. Miami never put money aside during the boom years. Now the City could end up in State control again. Manny's legacy.
