Ocean's Choice for seafood and barbecue!

oceans-choice
Ocean's Choice Seafood (3646 Grand Avenue) has great delicious seafood, but I like them on Saturdays, when they have barbecue. We need a barbecue place in the Grove, a couple of places promised to open shop but nothing has arrived yet.

There's talk of Golden Ribs coming on Douglas and Grand Avenue, doesn't look like anything yet. But back to Ocean's Choice, they have barbecued ribs and chicken on Saturdays, $10 for ribs and $8.00 for chicken with all the fixin's. That's Ira Davis, the chef and with her is Mike Wilson, the assistant manager at left.

Their daily fish specials include:
Dressed Conch - $8.00 / Fish and Chips - $7.00 / Fried Talapia - $6.00 / Shrimp & Conch - $15.50

At market price are Yellowtail/Lame Snapper, Grouper and Kingfish steak.

Also on the menu:
Grilled Chicken, Pork Chop (2) and Talapia Sandwiches from $6.00 to $8.00
Mad Mini Burgers (3) for $3.25 / Classic Burger for $6.00;
and they offer lots of wings with lots of wing flavors: buffalo, lemon pepper, honey BBQ, sweet chili, lime heat and spiced soy.

Homemade desserts include: fudge brownie, banana pudding, lemon pound cake, double chocolate cake, sweet potato pie (Saturday only) and more.

There are pasta dishes and meatloaf specials and lots of other things.

They are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm. They also cater, for the catering menu and info, please call 786-355-9776.

I was wondering when you were going to feature this thriving Village West business. How can anyone expect the Village West neighborhood to improve if they don't support the businesses there? The fish at this place is fresh and so much more affordable than anywhere else. I never buy fish at the Fresh Market anymore.

Sounds like real good food! Ribs, BBQ, fried fish...real Southern comfort!

Yeh, do they deliver? Parking in that area kinda limited.

OMG, does anyone remember Roy's Ribs on Grand Avenue in the west Grove? Mmmmmmmmm, salivating just thinking about those ribs - and sweet potato pie! BBQ sauce choice was mild, hot, and call the fire department. Roy was a BBQ genius.
