Double dipping and gouging Grove visitors
We parked there early Saturday morning. The fee was $5.00. Fine. It was $4.00 an hour before, but that's ok.
Well this guy tells us that we have to be out by 4 pm. Because at 4 pm, the prices go up to $10.00 and that is when they gouge the 4th of July people coming into the Grove for fireworks and such.
It's bad enough that they are raising prices as the day goes on, but they are then going to have people who are parked there already leave, and then re-enter and pay a higher fee at 4 pm? Isn't this double dipping?
When we questioned if that was legal, this is the response we got from this attendant, this and a few choice words that shouldn't be used on church property. But again, this is St. Stephen's.

Another Saint Stephen's scam...
This guy looks like he belongs behind the bars seen here. Crass, rude, not of the Grove
This low life looks like the guy who stole the 80 Cent mans bike.
Is that a cocktail in his hand? Drinking and gouging? Isn't there a law against public drinking? Or maybe he's jaywalking and drinking? This guy looks like criminal numero uno! Of course he would get hired by St. Stephens, more great representation by them in the community. Grovites boycott their Art Festival this year! Hit them in there wallets.
I am starting to really hate St.Stevens. But I cant afford the Grove Art fair so I may have to go to them anyways this year.
So is anyone sure he was hired by the church? Or could he be "freelancing" and no one noticed.
He does look pretty scrappy
