The Virginia Street Festival is coming in August
Virginia Street will be closed from Grand Avenue to the Mayfair Hotel from 11 am to 5 pm. There will be food, drinks, music, lots of books (mini book fair), ice cream, face painting and art.
Some of the Florida Marlins are expected to be on hand, too. Anyone who would like to rent a booth, can speak with Felice or Sandy at the Bookstore.
Stay tuned.

I hope the Virginia St. closure is not a test for a permanent closure; before long we can just drop people into the Grove by parachute. We have the worst traffic pattern in downtown Grove as it is. You can't turn left on Virginia, you can't turn left on McFarlane from Grand, Fuller is one way and you can only turn right, we are not Lincoln Rd. You can't turn left from Franklin where Calamari is, have you ever tried to give directions to tourists - impossible.
