A night of art, food, drink, music and model casting!

The First Saturday Art Stroll is upon us again this weekend. It will be another night of art, food, drink and music.

The Promenade at Mayfair along with all the usual art will feature a children's art area with Captain Art and live music. Many sponsors will be out and about with food and drink samples. Los Ranchos Steak House, a long time favorite known for their Churrasco and "Gallo Pinto" will be there, along with Kilo Kia Rum, the official rum sponsor for the Goombay Festival, also going on that same day.

This is a great free cultural and entertainment event which has something to do for the whole family and no or low cost.

The Windisch-Hunt Gallery, right next door to the Mayfair Promenade, has a fashion show by Mode magazine, also 14 of their artists from their Summer Salon are featured. Zip Robertson, shown here, a well-known Coconut Grove musician, will be providing live music during the opening art reception from 7 to 10 pm.

Mode Magazine will also be casting for models and their new movie "In the Mode" at 5:00 pm at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery 2911 Grand Ave. They are looking for models and actresses with previous acting and modeling experience. Girls must be 18+, 5'8", and have catwalk and modeling experience.
