Get your own mango tree for free; or lychee or avocado
From 8 am to noon, tomorrow, June 13, the NET office is giving away two trees per address. Proof or residency will be required (a driver's license or utility bill). That's two per residence, not two per person.
Mangos, avocados, tamarinds and lychee trees are available. This is on a first come, first serve basis, so get there early.
The trees may be obtained just outside the Grove at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 900 SW 26 Road.

Nice, in my Alma Mater!
Call me silly, but is "The City" the city of Miami or are we referring to the Grove?
I would believe its the "City" is Miami.
what is the typical size of a lychee tree?
I went this morning early, before 8 and there was a long line, but plenty trees!
They asked were we heard about the tree giveaway (on a short form) and I plugged you Grape.
Thanks for the excellent source of info, before the fact, not after.
I got a Jackfruit and a Kent mango tree :)
To answer the question above - Lychee grows to be a very large and beautiful tree.
