Come out and try a new green car next week
The Go Green, Buy American Green Car event will be Thursday, May 21 at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive). Starting at 6:30 pm, American car companies will be showcasing their newest eco-friendly hybrid vehicles, at the invitation of City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff.Chevy will show off the 2009 Tahoe Hybrid and 2009 Malibu Hybrid, Cadillac will have the 2009 Escalade Hybrid (shown left). You'll be free to check under the hood, kick the tires and sit behind the wheel. They will even let you take a test drive.

Still waiting for a plug-in hybrid. Guess the oil companies won't allow it. When are these companies going to give the consumer what we really want so we can get off the oil.
I now see what Government Motors is doing with all the bail out money.
It is reported to today GM will import cars from China with our bail out money!!
By the way, if you want to see how well government investments in the auto industry work out, I suggest you look at the brimming auto industry in the UK!
