The BID's new PR firm introduced last week
They are being paid a nominal fee, which they are actually donating to Grove charities, including St. Alban's. Not sure why they feel the need to do that since they are working for their fee, but that is a great gesture.
Carina and Rosa will be handling the BID's press releases and such. They spoke briefly at the last Merchants Meeting.
A side note: Republica's owner, Jorge Plasencia is spokesman for Father Alberto Cutié. So that's an interesting thing.

Isnt this also the same company that the DDA hired? They were eventually let go and the rumor mill was that it was for non-performance. I hope the BID has better luck.
They were not let go. Republica did the DWNTWN logo and design. According to Miami Today, the company that was let go was Apple Communications, their PR firm.
