Scaffolding is down; let the party begin
So the scaffolding at CocoWalk is down after so many months -- almost six, I think. The new addition that Crazy Pianos added is nice. I am surprised that a major shopping center would allow such a total structural change, and right on the front street, but I guess these days, any tenant is better than none and if they can make changes that don't hurt the integrity of the structure, why not? In this case I think he really has enhanced it.
They did a number on the trees during construction and while they took the scaffolding down. I was shuddering at the way they treated them as they removed all the planks, but they look ok now I guess.
Crazy Pianos is opening May 6, to get on the guest list, please use this form.

You know----- Miami and the Grove, is no different than any other city - north , south , or elsewhere.
Just pay the proper people, and you can get your "improvement" done.
I have been here long enough now, to see businesses come and go.
"Pianos" will come, and Pianos will go. Probably all too soon.
Lets all face the fact that Miami is just like the Sun Pass toll on US 95
except for busines owners.
Just pay - dont ask - and you get less than you expect. The traffic is still slow and the road non functional. Just like our city government!
Until the "Grove" can call its own shots, we will still be susceptible to the committee (BID) and political teat suckers living off of our tax dollars.
PIANO - GOOD LUCK!
Have you been up to Hooter's to see the new "view" -- I'd sue Crazy Pianos. An eyesore from up there.
