I had Burger King for lunch
This has happened with their matzo ball soup in the past and with all turkey products, they were once out of everything turkey.
Now you know why I like Einstein Brothers -- they don't run out of food.
I left the Dirty Deli, promising not to return, and I got Burger King for lunch instead. They actually had their menu items in stock.

Ok, so first the place was terrible, now it's good, and now it's terrible again since they didn't have what you wanted, so you went to a chain 15 minutes outside the Grove.
I don't get it, and in the future I probably will be skeptical of your dining reviews because of this capriciousness.
Burger King is 10 feet away inside the Grove. and I don't do restaurant reviews ever. I list their prices. I don't review food.
I find it kinda sad that a lot of people dont find the humor in his words, nor the casualness. *cough*dirty deli*cough*
I doubt Grape will "never" set foot in Coral Bagels. He just expected something and didnt get it. Fact of the matter is Coral Bagels is not a huge place
Nor will his comment hurt the business. Quite the contrary! I went to the "dirty deli" after hearing the grape talk about it.
I know, they don't get me and never will. I will probably be the first one there tomorrow having breakfast. No sense of humor most people. Sad.
People seem to forget that this is a blog not a newspaper. Evertyhing here is grape's point of view, not an unbiased opinion.
Running out of food usually means they buy it fresh pretty regularly. To me that's not a bad thing at all.
But then again, I'm a Coral Bagels fan. Every time I go, I am welcomed, and enjoy seeing a cross section of the Grove enjoying breakfast there.
So glad to hear you were kidding as so much of that post was contrary to what you stand for! PHEW!
Exactly, Paige. At least you know the food is fresh if theyre running out. Must be good too!
You snooze, you lose!
PS - I think "Dirty Deli" more fits Basil in the Grove at this point, wouldnt you think? Or maybe that one should be "Buggy Bistro" or "Cockroach Cafe"?
Burger King... Nadir Grape!
