It's corned beef and cabbage day!
I asked them at Coral Bagels (2750 SW 26 Avenue) when they would be doing the corned beef and cabbage again. The chef told me they just did it and had not planned it for awhile. But since I asked, he'll do it today.
So it's is corned beef and cabbage day at the Dirty Deli, er, Coral Bagels. Tell them the Grapevine sent you.

This place caters to your whims. Provides a great breakfast at a great price. Is a long-time grove staple and part of the true heart and soul of the grove, and independently owned and operated business that has withstood the tests of time and yet you bash it at every turn.
Then you rant the other day about bringing in a corporate chain (Einsteins) because there's no bagel place in the grove?!?!?!?!
I seriously don't get it. What gives?
Shall we replace Sandbar with a Fridays next?
Einsteins has more than just bagels. I don't even eat bagels, it wasn't about the bagels it was about their whole wheat bread sandwiches, their healthy yogurt items and the whole concept. it's a fast place to run in and out of for lunch.
We don't have that in the Grove. We need that.

I totally agree with that guy ....please don't try to reinvent Coral Bagels!!!!!!!!!!! We LOVE it! Just the way it is!!!!!! Quirks and all.
I understand what you people are saying and decided to try the dirty deli only after Grape was talking about it. While I love the food, and have been back, would it really be THAT hard to at least dust the place? It's truly disgusting to look around at the dust while eating my food. They close at 4 pm so that gives them plenty of time to clean!
How about a Murrays Bagels ? Best in Manhattan, check it out next visit.
We dont' have whole wheat sandwiches in the Grove!?!?!?!?!
First, they have all kinds of different breads at coral bagles (not just bagels),and you can get any kind of sandwich on any kind of bread anytime. And since they appear to cater to your whims already, you should know that.
