American Cancer Society needs volunteers
The American Cancer Society's signature event "Relay For Life" will be at Peacock Park on May 29, 2009.ACS is looking for committee members as well as participants on event day. Relay for Life is a celebration of life in honor of those touched by cancer. The event also raises funds for all of the ACS's programs.
This is an all night event. People camp out in the park and one member of the group walks a circle around the park, then tags another member and the relay goes on all night. While the one member is walking, the others are eating, talking, sleeping, etc.
