Is the grocery store a tourist destination now?

I found this kind of odd: according to an employee of The Fresh Market, a number of tour buses stop at The Fresh Market on a daily basis to allow the tourists to exit and get something to eat and drink.

Why not drop them off on Commodore Plaza where the restaurants are?

Is The Fresh Market all the Grove has to offer tourists these days? Strange.

Because Whole Foods has vegetarian and vegan selections, which can be important to some people, especially tourists.

My thoughts are it's easier for the bus drivers to stop, pull in and out again. I have always maintained since the days of Sylvia Cejas that unless one of us goes on one of these buses which picks up at the various hotels, we do not know the itinerary and thereby the Grove gets the short end in any number of ways. Maybe now with the BID we will have someone watch out for our welfare.

I live right in front of the Fresh Market. It's a blessing. It's no Publix or Millam's.
Who could blame tourists or anyone from stopping there to shop? Those who can afford 100$ dinners every night, even on vacation, well great, a minority.

But we must acnkowledge THE great service this Fresh Market has done for our Village.

Unlike the Infamous Grove Hrbor Marine, their space here is a blessing for us all.
That's if you enjoy fresh food, hop on the bike, like the good'ole times.

Everyday I say I dont know how I ever lived without the Fresh Market. So wonderful for the Grove. It is their #1 Store, and wow it really shows.

I've never been to Fresh Market, I only shop at Milam's, which I can barely afford. So I doubt Fresh Market would be in my budget. Soon I think I'm just going to start trekking it to Winn Dixie... I got one of their ad flyers in the mail and the sales there are amazing!

Fresh Market is probably cheaper than Milam's on 90% of their items. You really should try it out before you start buy inferior food from Winn Dixie.

Every time I see this, the tourists mainly use the restroom and get back on the bus.

Is Fresh Market really cheaper than Milams? Grape, how about a price comparison?

How bout you take my word and go and find out yourself? They are even cheaper than Publix on many, many things.

It's the fad today. You will just buy fresh foods from the market, then there's a restaurant beside it where you can let them cook it, will just pay for the cooking then presto you can dine-in there.
