Clowns just wanna have fun
For a little village, we always have something going on.
This morning the clowns showed up for the Breakfast With the Artist series at Focaccia. This month the artist was Yana Bem. The theme was "circus" because most of Yana's art reflects that.
Every month, a group of friends meets and anyone who happens to be in the restaurant at the time, gets quite a show. Anyone is welcome, so if you would like to show up for next month's artist, please do. The more the merrier.
After the breakfast, the clowns hit the streets. People on the streets were enjoying it as the group crossed Grand Avenue and went over to Main Highway, via Fuller Street.
In the top photo, from left, in the front row is Fred, Uta, Jerry (with red nose), Audrey, Ava and AnnaMaria. In the back, from left is Maggy and Yana.
I love the bottom right photo, where Yana and Maggy are looking at Jerry in that strange way. While they are dressed as clowns, he isn't. He does have something red on his ears. I think it was paper clown noses.
Below, you can see part of the clown parade on Fuller Street, coming from Main Highway. Yana's work will still be up in Focaccia for about a week. Stop by any time to see it, except tomorrow, Focaccia is closed on Sundays.
