Anti-Marlins Stadium Rally tomorrow at City Hall
This event is being put together by the Coalition Against Marlins Bailout, a group of concerned citizens who’ve taken the time to study the proposed contract and have found it to be a very bad deal for the public.

As a simple minded real estate agent (oxymoron?) I have always said that a sports team can operate like any other business when it comes to owning their "store".
You borrow money from a bank, you build a stadium, you pay back the loan.
Going even further, designate the stadium as an emergency shelter, in exchange for a partial tax break from the county.
Too bad they couldnt have it at a time where 90% of the people who care about this arent working or driving to work. Im all for it but I wont be attending this. Best of luck to them! And best of luck to the rest of us with the hopes that this dumb idea gets voted down.
