Coconut Grove Gallery and Interiors is holding a Sidewalk Art Bazaar during the Arts Festival Weekend (Feb. 14, 15 and 16).
They'll have hand made jewlery, vintage posters, bonsia trees, framing specials and art from local artists. Also hot dogs, popcorn and lemonade. They are located at 2884 Bird Avenue.

Good luck, but way over-priced and this goes to show the state of our Grove economy and our galleries, econically speaking. The owners have been reduced to hawking their wares on the sidewalk and parking lot. In fact the owners spoke against artist Steppe using the words, anarchy and confusion if businesses were allowed to hawk their wares on the street, welcome to the real world of 2009.
Hotdogs, pop corn, lemonade? Is this a flea market and if so will the pricing reflect this lowering of standards. What a sad ending. I could only affort a few items from this establishment when we moved into the Grove last year. I'll go back, perhaps I'll find a few items I can affort.
Please be upbeat here as this is a well established Grove landmark trying to stay afloat in these hard times. Prices have been drastically lowered, mortgages have to be paid, insurance is costly, labor cost remain high in this kind of establishment. Come on down next week and I'm sure you can find a few inexpensive items to enhance the ambiance of your home.
Jobie is an ass. And if we see one more comment from him in this blog we will stop reading this blog and I know many people who feel the same.
So if you want this blog to succeed, i suggest you get rid of jobie and his nasty antics. He is a cancer on the grove.
Jobie is an ass because he thinks, as many of us do, that the galleries have priced themselves out of the market, not only in the Grove, but at Basel, New York, London & elsewhere and for speaking this truth, Jobie is an ass? Take all competitors comments with a grain of salt.
I passed by the Coconut Grove
Art and Interiors Saturday and Sunday and they have extremely fair priceing on wall art pictures, framed with glass. If anyone wants some really good looking pictures I highly recommend you go today. I think the pricing may be below cost-----beautiful stuff!
