New Cuban restaurant in the Grove
They are scheduled to open some time next week, no set date yet.
Cuban Grove will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner starting at 7 am.
Two problems I see so far -- they don't seem to speak a word of
English and if you attempt to speak to them in English they rudely
turn their backs and yell, "No English."
To that I say, "Hello Focaccia."

Unfortunately that is so typical a behavior, they mostly have personality issues due to caffeine overload, hopefully but unlikely will learn some manners and not try to turn the rest of the neighborhood into a screaming 8th street joint, will have my earplugs handy. In any case, welcome to the neighborhood.
I'm glad there's a new Cuban restaurant opening. We needed that in the Grove. Who doesn't like a good Cuban sandwich? And as for the screaming, the French guys across the street at George's are pretty loud themselves. It just add to the wonderful diversity of the Grove. So Welcome to the Grove or should I say Bienvenidos al Grove!
Lamento Señor Uva que usted no hable castellano. Comida Cubana es rica para tu panza gorda.
hey what's up w/pisco's? i was walking past there last night and people were in there drinking, etc. but for the last month it had been boarded up with city tax violation stickers on the window.
anyway, i guess somoto had too much competition from akashi?
I spoke with the Scuba guys next door, they told me that they are new guys and pisco moved to somewhere on 8th near brickell.
