Walgreens charges different prices at different stores
I went in to get vitamins and the type I liked were on sale -- 2 for 1 -- can't beat that! So I got two, it was the last two, so I got 120 vitamins (60 in each bottle) for only $10.49.
I had to go to Miracle Mile and as I was driving by the Walgreens on Coral Way, I decided to stop in and see about getting a couple more bottles, this way I'll have almost a year's worth and not have to run out for awhile.
Well, lo and behold, they were a whole dollar more. They were $11.49.
Now I did save $21.98, so I'm not complaining, but I did find it interesting that they have different prices within what really amounts to a few blocks away. You can see by the receipt both transactions were done within 13 minutes of each other. The stores are that close to each other. (If you click the image, it will open larger).
I was at CVS yesterday, and they didn't carry the brand at all, so I guess I was lucky to find the 2 for 1 at Walgreens or I would have paid full price there. But I do wonder now what other price discrepancies there are and I find it to be a sneaky way of doing business. You'll notice their receipt didn't even have their name "Walgreens" at the top. It came just like this. Guess they were ashamed to brand themself.

Grape: If you show the manager the receipt they will match the price. The same thing happened to me at Xmas and the manager matched the other store's cheaper price. They could not explain why but it happened, The Grove store in my case was higher priced!
some stores have discount sale prices ....but not always at the same time. I bet you got a limited time offer for that store

I am beginning to suspect that you have way too much time on your hands.
Today I went to buy a new phone at ATT in the Grove and it was $79 but they didn't have the model I wanted until next week so I went to the Miracle Mile store and the same model was $169. They said it was because it was the corporate store. Guess what, I will wait til the Grove gets it in. It sure pays to shop around. Who knew?
You will find the same if you compare Grove Home Depot with the
8th steet store. Grove more expensive but at least both are cheaper than Shells.
HA! Take that Coral Gables!!!!
Guess your paying for that "FREE"
parking after all!
No matter what store, each store manager basically sets the merchandise price and what is sold, within limits as dictated by the region and then corporate. This is particularly true in grocery stores. Notice on the weekly Publix flyers that you "can save up to" a certain amount. This is because prices vary from store to store.
Why is it two Walgreens not even a mile away from each other as different prices on same medication and it not small difference it's a $28 difference
