Save money at local restaurants; and not so local
Right now they offer discounted food certificates for local restaurants and with the 70% off, that is a bigger savings. There are some catches, some places want you to spend $35.00 in order to use the certificate, others want you to order two entrees. Others don't demand as much.
It's all in the fine print, which actually is posted right there easy to see. But it looks like in some instances, $25.00 coupons are now $10.00 and with the 70% it comes to $3.00.
So if you are so inclined, some Grove restaurants are on the list like Le Bouchon, Le Moulin, Los Ranchos and Le P'tit Paris and even Flavour and of course you can see all of the restaurants listed in South Florida.
The coupon code is SUPER. Type that in the box at check out. I am guessing it is only good until after the Super Bowl. So purchase the certificates before then for the 70% off and then you can use them any time after that.
Please read all the fine print at Restaurant.com.

The waiters at le bouchon are absolute snobs...I dunno if its them being authentically french or not. But in the three times I have been there I have walked out thinking I was just insulted.
However the food is very good albeit expensive for what you get
Not sure but didn't Flavour close and re-open as "Temple" a couple months ago? Caught my eye walking down to the library. Looks like they tried to re-invent themselves with a new vinyl banner and a bunch of copper-colored spray paint out front. Bleh. Could be wrong though - I haven't been inside in at least a year.
Back on topic = Awesome potential deals for dinner out with the wife this weekend - thanks Grapevine!
I must say it'll be tough to get her to go anywhere else other than Sammy C's. That place has become our favorite by far - consistently great food, and over-the-top quality service. I hope everybody that reads this will take the little extra walk out of "Cocowalk-Grove" and try them out. I would hate to see them among the list of economic casualties.
Sammy C is great. The location is beautiful, the inside is spacious, the open kitchen is comforting and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. It is too bad that people will not take the time to walk the couple extra blocks to go there
Yea, Flavour us now called Temple Ultra Lounge. They actually remodeled the whole place top to bottom. The ownership is concentrating on alot of the old things that Flavour use to do like live music. Plus it looks like they're staying away from the college crowd which is something to look forward to in this area.
flavour had a great thing going at first then they brought in the rap music and catered to college kids who trahed the place. Hopefully temple will start with a new plan and stick to it.
I've spoken to Havib the new owner and he seems like a straight up guy and knows what he is doing.
Havib owned flavour too
He bought it about a year ago to remodel it. Business is a little slow for them now but I was there after the Taste of the Grove and had a great time.
