The Peacock is coming next month
Speaking of Anokha, they are getting a new neighbor -- The Peacock. No, not the ones from Micanopy, there's a new little neighborhood bar opening at 3320 Virginia Street opening in February called The Peacock. They call themselves the place "where great food meets great prices."
They say they'll have the best drink prices in the Grove and none of their food is over $15.00. They want to be the new neighborhood gathering place.
Between The Bookstore, Olav's Pomme and Pane Café and Anokha, hopefully The Peacock will add some more life to the area and make that part of Virginia Street a neighborhood place.

sweet! hopefully it doesn't suck. and hopefully they realize the true spirit of the grove and don't try to sell themselves as a south beach bar.
btw what happened to flavour? or flavor? and oxygen?
I thought Anokha's bar is already called the Peacock Lounge, in the back of their restaurant.
