Isn't it a lovely day, just watch some bastard louse it up

They finally got me today. So much for the one hour grace period.

I don't think that ever works, the Parking Authority doesn't know what is going on, they have no clue about grace periods or free parking. They are too busy counting up the money to care.

I usuall overpay by hours, but today I had to run somewhere for a few minutes which ended up being a bit longer, but I thought I had the hour grace period, so I didn't rush.

I guess I'm lucky to get away with only this one $18.00 through the whole parking debacle this past season, it could have been worse.

Oh, and those BID free parking certificates never worked either. They charged me to park in the Oak Street garage all the time this season, too.

I know, I should bike more.

$18.00 more to go to the
Viernes Culturales events on Calle Ocho. Woo hoo.

guess our grace period of a cup of cheer has gone by the wayside.
Yes, had the same experience with the Oak St. parking garage. In fact their arithmetic was somewhat exaggerated to the point they tried to penalize me for using the card instead of $4 all day rate they were
going for $6 with the courtesy two hours in the middle of the day. A good example of the ad guys not following through
They came up with a promotion to pull people in, then when you pull them in you piss them of.

You must thank the Miami Parking Authority for making Coconut Grove so parking friendly. That $18 could have been spent at a local business, no instead our benevolent elected local government leaders will decide which cousin of theirs will get that money first. Thank you cousin MPA.

hey, it works on Miami Beach.
I was late getting back to my car and my ticket said , "Merry Christmas."

No Charge.

The grove is the pretty diligent in making all the parkers miserable while they are dining, shopping , going to the movies. Also try putting money in those parking meters and going back to your car's dashboard while it is raining (April- Oct)

A lot of people dont know this....but the parking authority is not run by the city. They are independent and give a sliver of what they make to the city.
They are out of control.
