There were complaints about this letter sent from Stuart Sorg about Jack King.
In response, this letter was sent by City Manager Pete Hernandez (if you click on it, it will open larger). It says that Sorg is not to use City's stationery anymore and he is to destroy or return any letterheads he has on hand.
He is also asked not to make decisions without communicating with the Waterfront Advisory Board, in essence, if you don't like Jack King, have the Board do something about it, a letter to the City Commission from one Board member, with only that one Board member's opinion is not proper procedure.

Interesting that Sorg complains that King doesn't follow Robert's Rules and then subverts them himself. I know both characters, King better, and I can easily see King doing all of the things Sorg objects to. Sorg would be highly offended because they are so contrary to Sorg's norms, but King is fighting for what he believes in.
They are both avid sailors, passionate about the waterfront and want to contribute. Sad to see Sorg resorted to those tactics to work out a difference.
Why can't they just hug it out?
Wait'll Hernandez finds out that Sorg was a Navy seal for 26 years was once recommended for elevation to Admiral. And Hernandez is merely the City Manager. Talk about lack of respect.
yep, that's the problem with the military. They let anyone run the place.
What do you mean, Sorg tells people that in the first 3 minutes he meets them. He starts every sentence with "I am a former Navy Seal............"
Where does Sorg come off using City stationery? and no doubt City postage! That's dangerous. Glad somebody caught onto this. What is this man doing as Chair of the Waterfront Board?
Do we know when the SEAL program started? I don't think they actually had SEALs when Sorg was in the Navy. Not that he couldn't have killed a bunch of brain cells in some other diving program that precedeed the SEALs.
