Antique and Collectible Market arrives this weekend

You know that antique market on Lincoln Road that they have every few weeks? Well it's coming to the Grove starting this weekend. Yup, the Outdoor Antique Collectible Market will be at Mayfair this weekend, starting Friday and running through Sunday.

That's what is going on at the old Benetton store on Grand Avenue, you may have seen the workers preparing the space. The more expensive items will be inside that location and the rest of the great items will be in and around the plaza at Mayfair.

This is something really exciting for the Grove. It will bring a lot of life to the area and on top of that, it's a new attraction once a month. If all goes well, it may end up happening twice a month. Also, plans are to have it as a full year attraction -- every month, not just winter and spring.

Come out and browse for something you didn't know you just had to have. There is everything from fine art to all sorts of antiques and collectibles, lots of tchotchkes, too.

It's an event and not to be missed. Tony and his crew have put a lot of time and effort into this. Let's all show them that we appreciate them choosing the Grove for this popular and exciting Antique Market. Many vendors from the old Coconut Grove Cares shows at the Grove Expo Center will be back showing their wares.
