I get my bagels and other breakfasty type items at the Grove Bookstore!
i have the same needs! a good deli or diner breakfast...yum
agreed! that grab & go/pizza place would be the perfect spot...
That grab and go place needs to get spiffed up - it looks kinda ragged.
Bring back "The Tom Thumb". It was where the smoothie place is now.
It reminded me of "The Donut Gallery" on Key Biscayne.
I have said this forever...i work in the Grove and am from New York and have always wondered why there is not a New York style deli in the Grove with bagels, sandwiches, soups, etc. Strange.
It's crazy. I like french food as much as the next guy, but enough is enough. People also ask me where they can grab a seat at a counter for some cuban food, and I am ashamed their is nothing around. That new French place by where the so-so- Cuban place was sucks.
Coral Bagels taste like cardboard. We moved here from Manhattan and we fly bagels in from H & H. A gold mine business for shore. Panera's would be also a great plan.
There is no NY deli in the Grove because this is not NY and, contrary to what most people from NY believe, the world doesnt revolve around you. I can also guarantee that the demand for Cuban food in this community is very low, if any at all.
Hey Great Carnac did you ever hear the saying that Miami is the Sixth Borough of New York? And as far as Cuban Food Demand goes, do you by any chance have a seeing eye dog?? The charm of the Grove is the mix of wonderful people in a happy environment.
I vote with Tony, bring back Tom Thumb. actually an increase in cheap good food would be appreciated. I spent $6 at Focaccia for toast and coffee.
