Yes, Virginia Street, there is a Santa Claus -- at The Bookstore

santa1
Santa has been quite busy these days in Coconut Grove. He was at the tree lighting ceremony the other night at City Hall and this morning, he arrived bright and early at The Bookstore (3399 Virginia Street). This is James, a Grove resident, with Santa. James was the first person to visit Santa at The Bookstore.

Santa will be there today until 4 pm and he'll be there tomorrow from 11 to 4. Sandy and Felice are discussing having him there every weekend until after Christmas because people are thrilled at seeing him when they enter the store.

The Bookstore is really a winter wonderland. If you haven't been lately, it's worth the trip. The whole place is like a Christmas village filled with toys, books, food, drinks. It's a nice place to spend time.

Later today Santa arrives (again) at CocoWalk.

The Bookstore is celebrating their one year anniversary all weekend with lots of specials and surprises.

They are offering 10% off every book in the store all weekend. On Monday, they will start accepting Code 33 for discounts and this weekend, they have a special where you receive another discount off the most expensive item you have.

As you can see above, Samantha has a bingo-type ball thingie and she spins the basket and depending on which color balls comes out, you receive an additional 5 to 10% off.

And get this -- you will now find wine at the cafe inside The Bookstore, so instead of going for coffee you can go for a glass of wine now!
