If there aren't enough bike racks, should you create your own?
Invention is the Mother of Necessity when it comes to bike racks. I noticed today that some are using the Information Booth poles as bike racks. I like it. It gives some life to the empty booth.
This, by the way, is only a few feet from the new CocoWalk rack, which was actually being used by a couple of other bikes. Nice to see people are driving less and going green.

If you are happy to see people riding bikes more and being green why the hate directed towards cyclist on this blog?
We should all be happy to see more people ride bikes, pollute less, free up congestion and use less fossil fuels....Instead of the hate letters about cyclist riding on the road and being in the way of motorist.
Bicyclists on the side of the road (sharing the streets) are good. Bicyclists taking over the roads (four and five deep) are bad.
Exactly, Grapevine.
Both Car drivers and Bikers need freakin' basic education about the rules, there are laws, and how to behave a co-exist. Until someone does something to make Miami anything better than the 3rd worst city in the NATION for bikes and cars to co-exist.
The laughable little Bike racks you see here are just, that, a JOKE.
A slap in the face of the city of Miami, exemplifying as always their utter INEPTITUDE at handling Cocoanut Grove Village matters.
Promises.. yeah, yeah, yeah.
Carlos.
Actually word on the street is that the BIC is looking into getting cool artistic bike racks for the Grove. So we can be bike friendly and our artistic selves all at the same time. Cheers!
