The Barnacle presents "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"
The Barnacle (3540 Main Highway) is featuring one of their Starlight Movie Classics -- Jimmy Stewart in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington," this Sunday, December 7, on the lawn out back. The catch is that this is for members only, so if you are so inclined, please call 305-442-6866 to join the Barnacle Society.You can also join right at the gate on Sunday before the movie. The gates open at 6:00 pm, the movie starts at 7:00 pm. No one will be admitted after 7:15 pm. Good deal. They run things right at The Barnacle.
But I do hope we get a movie in the park like last year in Peacock Park. To me, that was one of the most memorable and neighborly things we did during the holiday season.

Anybody know how much it is to join; they sure need to do some PR to encourage membership. Or maybe they are not interested.
