The Grove has been turned into a little arts village
The Mad Hatter Arts Festival was a great success yesterday, although a few artists were bitching about not enough foot traffic. And one store owner didn't like the musicians out in front of her store, but Daisy Lewis, who was running the show handled it in a calm, professional way. The festival is on again today, so stop over if you haven't been.
There is a little bit of everything. Of course arts and crafts are on all the streets and there is face painting for the kids and the cops on horseback put smiles on everyone's faces.
There are quite a few musicians throughout the Village. You can hear various types of music as you wander around.
There was even a little drum circle, yesterday, which had extra seats available for passersby, who were more than happy to join in. It's probably there again today, on Grand Avenue, in front of the old Sophora store, near the gym.
