Ease on down, ease on down the road
The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Webelos have been all over the Grove today, passing through on their yearly hike. They sure picked a great day for it.
I see a sign below that says "Bike Lane," and while I don't want to bring up the Great Bike Debate again, what's that all about? Thought all you bikers tell me there are no bike lanes around here? This tired little cub scout and his great big backpack carrying leader have stumbled upon one.

Technically, that's a bike lane SIGN. Is there a lane marked out on the street below it?
That's no bike lane, perhaps on and off in some spots for a Mountain Bike with reinforced suspension. There are NO real bike paths for Road Bikes in the City of Miami. There IS one decent bike Path in Key Biscayne, from the toll plaza on the Rickenbacker Causeway, down to Crandon Park and Bill Baggs. THAT's a bike path.
It's a bike LANE not a bike Path. I ride it all the time.
