Great picture. Jenny at Shake-a-leg will smile and let anyone go on their Ocean Kayaks, just 15bucks for visitors, any day. It's really great even for fishing on a Kayak on cooler morning or evenings off our shore.
I went kayaking out of Shake-A-Leg yesterday. It happened to coincide with a huge Roy Disney visit. Everyone was a-titter! SALM was resplendent and the volunteers didn't mind a whit taking care of us too.
Disney went out on one of the sailboats with some of the kids. There were probably 8 prams and 6 keelboats out along with press boats. This was in preparation and promotion for the local premier of Morning Light, which by the way is a sensational movie.
Kayaking around the barrier islands is fun on a calm day. We saw fish and sting rays and lots of interesting items washed up on the island from the recent high tides. Also saw a great heron emerge and fly off just a few feet from our boats. It was a gorgeous day. Good job SALM!
