It's like being in another world
I found all the Beautiful People. They're at the new pool on the roof of the Mayfair Hotel called the "Cabana One Lounge and Pool Club ." As you can see, it's like being in another world; like floating on air. The long drawn-out construction project was well worth the wait. These are the first published photos of the new rooftop space.
The full bar has large flat screen tv's along with a wait staff who will serve you right at your lounge chair or cabana.
The views are spectacular, the skyline isn't bad either.
The pool is open daily, but the Cabana One Lounge and Pool Club (which consists of a DJ) is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and all day Sunday. I know many of you have heard them around the neighborhood, the poolside DJ is quite loud.

is there a happy hour?
yup. loud is an understatement. here's hoping it was only cranked up that loud for opening night. if not, there will be problems for them. you simply can't play music that loud, on a rooftop, at 2 in the morning.
inside a club, no prob. but up on a rooftop, surrounding by people trying trying to sleep - that's frat house bs.
and it ain't gonna fly.
For thier sake we hope that noise was a one time announcement, because they will be in for a fight if they continue to blast loud music from a roof!!!!!!! There is certain noise ordinances that even the Mayfair must abide by.To add insult to injury they were blasting music at 745am today for the take down of the equipment.
I agree. I don't understand it. The cops are out all night making sure no one has any outdoor speakers at all..even at a minimal level. Yet, these guys sounded like a football stadium in the middle of the grove.
I think it is awesome that they are bringing life back to the mayfair as well as the grove. We needed a cool lounge for Sunday afternoons. No having to hassle with South Beach.
First off, I welcome this club to the neighborhood as it will be a classy alternative to the grungy college/ghetto bars.
However, if last weekend and last night are any indication of the noise level we will endure this season, I will do everything in my organizational power to see to it that the noise ordinances are enforced. It's rediculous!
Did it ever occur to these moronic DJs that maybe we want to have a conversation with each other without screaming in each other's ears? Get a clue!
