Maybe he was trying to get out of Ike's wind and rain
"I admit I've never been a fan of the information booths in the Grove and after today I'm even less so. About 9 am Wednesday morning I was walking by the one on Main Highway, I noticed the door handle bent out of shape. It looked like someone had attempted to break in. As I walked by I looked inside and there was a homeless guy sitting on the floor up against the wall in an effort to stay out of view. From part time information booth to homeless shelter. I think it's time to call the booths a failure and return the space to the pedestrians."

How do you know it wasn't Superman changing his clothes? In this economy, even Superman has it rough.
Does he know all about the grove??
Let him stay in there and work on tip's. Better than him scaring somebodies wife/daughter/mother in some parking lot with an offer to "Watch" their car for small fee.
It's completely unfair to label the stupid booths "a failure."
They're a DISMAL failure. There, that's fair.
One of the information booths could be transformed into a public pay bathroom - like they have in civilized big cities like London. For a small fee the door opens, you use it, leave, it self sanitizes for the next...
Or they could be used as city kiosks giving away maps and coupons for local businesses.
