Village Council meeting tonight
There's a Village Council meeting tonight from 7 to 9 pm at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive).
There doesn't seem to be much going on in the summer because the big issue tonight is the peacock issue. Concerned residents will be giving their views on the peacocks and peahens, they call it the "Big Pea Fowl Issue."
There's also an update regarding the effectiveness of code enforcement in relation to tree cutting violations.
This is sort of a light meeting compared to the Waterfront Master Plan debate including "Burn Notice" and the Expo Center last time. But the meetings are always entertaining nontheless. If you can't make it, you may see it on line at: http://videos.miamigov.com/ or it is televised on cable channel 77.
