Technology is amazing in the blog world
I can tell how long they stayed, what pages they read and which links they clicked out of onto another site or just clicking off. I can tell if they left a comment, too.
Half the daily readers are from out of town, I guess they are tourists looking for places like hotels or restaurants or things to do. During Taste of the Grove season or the Arts Festival, the counters go crazy with people clicking in from all over the world looking for info on the events.
When I post a story, usually within about 10 minutes, it is already on the search engines. Amazing. So if I write about an event or store or restaurant, if someone is looking for fresh info, that usually is the first thing that comes up on the search engines.
I do a lot of "Burn Notice" stories because people are going crazy for info on "Burn Notice." Each time I blog about them, people from all over the world click in to see and read about it.
Anyway, that being said, I have added a little cool Google map to the right here. If you click on the link below it, it will open into a larger map, and hopefully, that will help people find their way around the Grove and they can navigate around, finding the places I write about.

Hmm Grape that's all and good, but can you tell me what color underwear I am wearing?
Cool. You've become a functional e-version of a black kiosk!
The map is a first-rate addition to a great blog.
As for Anon 9:29, I'm guessing he/she reads the Grapevine nude.
It is truly amazing. Have you ever seen people hack into Web Cams? It is the ultimate perverted geekdom.
Hi, in re: half of your readers being from out of town, I am one of them. I landed in the Grove as my first FL home back in '72 and I loved/lived in the Grove for the next 5 years; then moved to a home just outside of the Grove, but was a daily visitor to the Grove for the next 25 years. I thoroughly enjoy your blog because it helps me stay in touch with my "old love"... the Grove !! Thanks for your efforts.
Love Burn Notice, but didn't even realize it was filmed in the Grove.
That ain't my Grove. Of course, I left about 1964..... Only one visit since then, in '68.
I don't think I want to come back. I'd cry.
