Hopefully they'll open some time this century

But they already have the dishes inside, so hopefully they will get their permits in order.
Update: They are open. Story here.

Lessee here...Cita's, George's and Anokha have all managed to get permitted, built-out, inspected and opened in the more-than-a-year since Akashi has been "Coming Soon". Now there is obviously a problem here, but you can be pretty sure it ain't "inspections and permits".
Who knows what the issue is here? I doubt they wanted to pay rent for all this time while getting nothing in return revenue though.
I wonder where they are going to put all the tables. I've looked inside quite a bit and haven't seen any room for that. Hopefully they fill that outdoor space with some seating. It would be a nice atmosphere there.
That's what attracts me to the Sushi Place across the street. Love sitting outside drinking some saki.
i figured they would put the tables outside. get my bike fixed, while i have some baby octupus!!!!
