"Burn Notice" is doing lots of filming tomorrow

Everybody's favorite, "Burn Notice," will be filming in the Grove all day tomorrow from 7 am to 8 pm.

Filming will start on Commodore Plaza and the alley behind Commodore. Two major scenes will be filmed: Actors crossing the street, which will require intermittent traffic control during this scene on Commodore Plaza (1-2 minutes at time) during film takes only and then they will be filming a scene at Le P'tit Paris (3463 Main Hwy).

As soon as these scenes are finished, they will be moving to the alley behind Commodore Plaza.

From 11 am to 3 pm, they will be filming on Oak Avenue between McDonald Street and Virginia Street. And then from 1 pm to 8 pm, filming will take place at the Mutiny Hotel, located at 2951 S.
Bayshore Drive.

The Ritz or the Sonesta would want way too much money I would imagine.
Plus those film crews tend to disrupt daily going's on. Guest's at the hotel don't want to be told they can't walk somewhere, especially if they paid full price to be there.
My Friend and I stayed at the Clevelander back in the 90's because he did some research and found out it was one of the only Hotel's on the beach with a pool. That was the weekend they filmed A Stallone Movie There.(The one with Sharon Stone)It ruined our whole weekend. The pool was closed, the outside bars were closed most of the weekend. They Filmed all night long so we got NO sleep. Management did'nt give a rat's tushie about our stay and offered no discount for the inconvenience. It's bad enough that most of the hotel's in Miami have had buildings built on both sides of them the past few years, you never know if your gonna get in a Disco Nap after the beach or have to listen to a Jackhammer when you get back to the hotel.
Not b*#chin, just Sayin!
Disco Naps are very important to Miami's economy.
