Post Office update
They plan to have the parking lot done by the end of September, no start date was given. If they don't replant all the trees that were lost, the remaining trees will be put at the substation on US1, hiding the building from traffic.
Martin Petrey from the USPS Atlanta office came down for a third time and expressed his apologies again for the mess that was left at our post office. They are working to become better neighbors.
They planned a Bahamian theme for the post office building itself, which would be nice since it goes back to the Grove's beginnings, but currently, there is no money for that. As for the parking lot, there will be 17 parking spaces, along with the street parking.

Why do we lose so many spaces, 17 ia not very many. A lot of people go in and out of there during any given day.

In other words, let's (illegally) relocate trees from downtown Grove to US1.
How marvelous for us!
