How many more Italian restaurants do we need in the Grove? Ludo's has been doing a great job on Main Highway. Will give Cita's a shot though, better be special.
Im trying to think of another Italian joint outside of Ludo's and Im coming up with nothing... There was D' il Frasca but that is now George's in the Grove. With so many French joints in town and all experiencing some success I dont see why 2 Italian restos couldnt do the same. Oh, and pizza places do not qualify as Italian restaurants IMO.
Start up my Vespa, she's a cutie!
Blind mind!
Al Fresco Restaurant is another Italian on the same street up the staircase at 3138 Commodore Plaza. Pretty fancy and private place too.
Al Fresco has great food, great chef, good portions and reasonable prices, but they need a street presence - people forget they are there. They should be down there on the street instead of another nail salon.
Tom, how do you know the food will be good? If you make a statement like that you have to back it up, otherwise it sounds like they are paying for the PR...
Dah, I forgot about Al Fresco. Ive only sampled their dishes at the Taste of the Grove. I once went by to eat but didnt for some reason I cant remember. Its on the radar now so maybe I'll give Cita's a few weeks to get rolling and hit up Al Fresco in the meantime.
