A Fairly Simple Affair

"Marjory's Circle", the new group formed to support the preservation and renovation of Marjory Stoneman Douglas's Coconut Grove home, is putting on its first event. They are sponsoring a "Tea for Marjory", a Mother's Day Tea honoring The Mother of the Everglades. May 14th marks the tenth anniversary of her passing.

The Tea will be on Mother's Day, May 11th, in Plymouth Church's Pilgrim House (3400 Devon Road), from 4 to 5:30 pm. Marjory's friends will tell stories and anecdotes.

This should be an easy and relaxing day. A few people will start setting up at 3 pm. Some others could just bring tea, crumpets and the like. Others can help serve and clean up.

Between 60 and 80 guests are expected. Let them know if you would like to be on the serving end of this fairly simple affair. Please call Glenn or Francesca for details: 305-448-3775.
