Cita's is planning for a July opening

Cita's, the new Italian restaurant on Commodore Plaza is planning a July 22 opening.

Commodore Plaza should be called "Continental Plaza" because of the mix of restaurants that are now occupying that one block. You can travel the world by just walking from Grand Avenue to Main Highway and back again.

I wish Anokha would have stayed on Commodore to give it an even more Continental appeal; I hope they get a good following on Virginia St. which they plan to open in July. The best place would have been the place on the corner where the fitness place went in; we sure didn't need another fitness facility and salon. It has the perfect courtyard.

According to the listings on CoconutGrove.com, there are only twenty seven (!) fitness facilities and salons in the central village. Can this really be enough?

Cita's looks awesome inside. I walk by it everyday and they totally gutted it and renovated. They also took out parking spaces in the back and put in a really nice brick patio along with seating down the side alley of the building.
