It's their money, they can do what they want

Looks like Mercy Hospital is taking some of that money they sold themselves out for to have their hospital signs waxed. They were crying about needing all that money to update the medical equipment, but today a mobile car washing/waxing company had a few trucks out with workers literally waxing the signs all around the facility. Guess their salaried maintenance crew was out on vacation or something and the signs had to get done.

I took the picture with my cell phone, sorry about the poor quality.

Good watchdog work, always helpful to keep an eye on the community ...

However, this is not a fair critique of the hospital's budget management. I know there might be some suspicion concerning their monetary involvement in the Related Group project, but we can't reach any budgetary conclusions simply through this grounds maintenance event.

It is very reasonable to understand and see that they are simply upkeeping their grounds, through a subconsultant hire that is very typical of property management. Were they not to worry about the shiny grounds details such as a polished sign, we would all curse them for looking so dingy, and customers/clients/patients wouldn't feel as secure going to this hospital, thus hurting their business, thus further putting their budget in a bind.
